Durrant not getting carried away

Rangers first-team coach Ian Durrant insists the champions are taking nothing for granted in the Scottish Premier League title race.[LNB] The Gers are aiming to notch up a 10th successive league win this weekend.[LNB]Ally McCoist's side sit 10 points clear of Old Firm rivals Celtic and nine ahead of second-placed Motherwell following an impressive run of results.[LNB]But Durrant is well aware of just how quickly fortunes can be transformed in football as Rangers prepare to host St Mirren on Saturday.[LNB]The 44-year-old said: "Week to week it can change. We are under no illusions. Anything can happen in football.[LNB]"What we did two weeks ago counts for nothing. We just have to go game by game.[LNB]"The application of the boys up until now has been second to none.[LNB]"The way they have applied themselves and gone about their business has been great.[LNB]"We know we will have a tough game against St Mirren. Danny Lennon has got them going well and they are playing attractive football.[LNB]"We are looking forward to it and getting going again."[LNB]Durrant confirmed Rangers have no fresh injury concerns following the international break, with a number of players on duty with their national teams.[LNB]He said: "Everybody is fit and healthy. Some played more than others, which was a good thing.[LNB]"Having 16 players away, including the young boys with the under-21s, you always have your fingers crossed that they come back with a clean bill of health."[LNB]Meanwhile, on-loan Arsenal defender Kyle Bartley is continuing to edge closer to a return to action as he recovers from a hernia operation.[LNB]Durrant said: "I think Kyle will join in next week. It depends how he gets on between now and the weekend.[LNB]"It's been almost five weeks post-operation and it's usually seven weeks before they are back playing so I'm sure he will be a lot more involved next week."
