Rangers coach Ian Durrant remains hopeful that Kenny Miller will stay at Ibrox for the rest of the season. Rangers accepted an offer from Birmingham last Friday, worth an initial £600,000, but the Scotland striker has so far stalled on a move to St Andrews. The Scotland striker trained at Murray Park and Rangers say he could play in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash against Hamilton on Saturday, despite his omission from the Scottish Cup win over Kilmarnock on Monday. The 31-year-old is out of contract in the summer and could sign a pre-contract deal this month, although Rangers manager Walter Smith has admitted he would be reluctant to play Miller if he did so. The first-team coach told Blues News: "Kenny is in a position where he's in the final months of his contract but we're still hopeful he will stay. "What happens will be his decision but he has been in all week training with us and nothing has fazed him."
