Davis wins January award

Rangers midfielder Steven Davis was today named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Player of the Month for January.Davis has been recognised for helping the Ibrox club open up a 10-point lead at the top of the SPL.Rangers won three and drew two of their five league games last month, including snatching a point in the second Old Firm derby of the season.Davis also broke his goalscoring duck for the campaign in the 2-0 win at St Mirren and followed that up with another effort against Falkirk.
