The Northern Ireland international, 24, beat Dundee United keeper Lukasz Zaluska during last season's Co-operative Insurance Cup final shootout, which the Ibrox side won following an enthralling game which ended 2-2 after extra-time.[LNB]It was the first time the former Fulham player had taken a penalty and he has not had his nerve tested since.[LNB]The Glasgow giants have never been involved against each other in a penalty shootout in a major final but if history is to be made on Sunday, Davis wants to be part of it.[LNB]"It's hard to say if this one will go to penalties," he said.[LNB]"Every Old Firm game I've been involved in in my Rangers career so far has been unique.[LNB]"I don't think you know what you are going to get in them.[LNB]"I scored in the penalty shootout against Dundee United last year and that was my first one as a professional.[LNB]"I haven't taken any since.[LNB]"But I would be happy enough to take one on Sunday.[LNB]"I'm not sure what the managers plans are but I'm sure the players will have a few practise penalties after training.[LNB]"However, it's not something we are concentrating on solely.[LNB]"There has to be a winner on the day and we are just hoping that we can come out on top."[LNB]Davis, who will have a contingent of friends and family over from Northern Ireland to support him at Hampden, believes fellow Ulsterman Kyle Lafferty is starting to show his true worth to sceptical Light Blues fans.[LNB]The lanky striker has struggled to live up to his £3.5million price-tag since moving from Burnley but he struck twice in Sunday's Homecoming Scottish Cup quarter-final clash with Hamilton at Ibrox to help Walter Smith's side to a comfortable 5-1 win.[LNB]Davis said: "There has been a lot made in the press about his transfer fee but you have to take in to account that he is still a young lad; he's still learning the game.[LNB]"He has said all along that he prefers to play up front but the manager has used him on the left a lot this season.[LNB]"I think he showed what he is all about on Sunday and the goals will bring confidence.[LNB]"He will be a big player for the club in the coming years."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
