Davis: Experience is vital
Steven Davis is convinced that experience will be key if Rangers are to start 2011 with a bang.
The Northern Irish midfielder knows that victory over Celtic in the Old Firm derby would give his side the psychological advantage in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
Speaking to the club's official website, Davis said: "I think experience is something that has definitely worked for us over the last couple of seasons.
"The majority of the players have been together for a while now. There is real togetherness in the squad and everybody fights for each other in every game.
"These matches do hang in the balance and it's small factors in the game that decide which way they swing.
"There is very little between the sides and the result can hang on a split decision or a little piece of magic."
