Miller netted a late winner at Hampden Park after seeing two team-mates sent off in the second half.[LNB]St Mirren had been the better side and looked favourites when first midfielder Kevin Thomson then teenage defender Danny Wilson were red-carded.[LNB]But Steven Naismith came off the bench to set up Miller for the winner in the 84th minute.[LNB]Scotland striker Miller told BBC Scotland: "We've had six games against them (St Mirren) now and every one of them has been tough.[LNB]"We were just lucky to get the goal at the end there."[LNB]Asked if he thought the League Cup could be the first of a treble-winning season, Miller said: "Let's hope so!"[LNB]He added: "It was probably one of the first times I heard them sing my name since I came back.[LNB]"It gave me goosebumps to be honest and it confirmed that I have maybe been accepted.[LNB]"So I am over the moon.[LNB]"It is great for me to get the goal but it is more important that we won the game.[LNB]"It was tough when we went down to nine men and you might feel that it is not going to be your day but there is a determination here.[LNB]"We didn't want to get beat.[LNB]"We were all trying to run forward to get a goal and then run back to defend.[LNB]"Fortunately enough we managed to get the break at the end."[LNB]Rangers captain David Weir said: "We were very fortunate to win today.[LNB]"In the first half, we were as poor as we've been all season.[LNB]"I thought we got better when we went down to nine men."[LNB]St Mirren boss Gus McPherson said: "It's extremely difficult to take and football can be a cruel game.[LNB]"We gave Rangers a really difficult time but ultimately we've lost the game."[LNB][LNB]
