Lee McCulloch and Kris Boyd were today amongst seven Rangers players named in Craig Levein's first Scotland squad for the forthcoming friendly against the Czech Republic at Hampden on Wednesday 3 March. The two former exiles have team-mates Neil Alexander, Steven Whittaker, Kevin Thomson and Kenny Miller for company - as well as Andy Webster, currently of course on loan to Dundee United.Former Ibrox men Alan Hutton, Charlie Adam and Barry Robson are also named.  There was however no inclusion for Allan McGregor, who is now doubtful for next Sunday's 'Old Firm' fixture following an incident on Saturday night.Levein did however stress that McGregor will be considered for his next squad."I'm delighted that Kris Boyd is in the squad. Lee McCulloch wants to play for Scotland."On Webster, the new Scotland Boss commented:"Andy has been playing consistently well. He's suffered a tremendous amount of injuries. Centre-backs are not in plentiful supply. It's the spine of the team."On the exclusion of David Weir, Levein was honest enough to admit:"I certainly would not exclude David from selection for future squads. However - looking ahead - the European Championship Finals are in 2012 and if we get there he would be 42 years-old. It might just be beyond him. "Perhaps significantly - and reflecting the movement during January's transfer window - there is just one Celtic player in the list revealed this morning, namely Scott Brown.THE SQUADGOALKEEPERSNeil Alexander (Rangers), Craig Gordon (Sunderland), David Marshall (Cardiff City)DEFENDERSChristophe Berra (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Gary Caldwell (Wigan Athletic), Paul Dixon, Garry Kenneth (both Dundee United), Alan Hutton (Tottenham Hotspur), Lee Wallace (Hearts), Andy Webster, Steven Whittaker (both Rangers) MIDFIELDCharlie Adam (Blackpool), Scott Brown (Celtic), Graham Dorrans (West Bromwich Albion), Darren Fletcher (Manchester United), Paul Hartley (Bristol City), Lee McCulloch, Kevin Thomson (both Rangers), James McFadden (Birmingham City), Barry Robson (Middlesbrough)FORWARDSKris Boyd, Kenny Miller (both Rangers), Steven Fletcher (Burnley), Chris Iwelumo (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
