    Clement completes PSG move

    25 Jan 2007 - 15:13:53

Rangers have allowed Jeremy Clement to leave after just six months at Ibrox with the midfielder following former manager Paul Le Guen to Paris Saint Germain.

Clement's future at the club had been uncertain following the departure of Le Guen earlier in the month.

The 22-year-old was brought to Ibrox for £1.1million from Lyon in the summer but has been allowed to return to France after being told he wasn't part of new manager Walter Smith's plans.

"It's a great chance for me to go back to France to a big club and also to work with Paul Le Guen again," Clement told the club's official website.

"I enjoyed my time with Rangers. I would like to thank all the fans for their support and I wish the club every success in the future."

Meanwhile, Chris Burke has agreed a new contract ending speculation about the Scotland international's future.

The winger was out of contract in the summer but has put pen to paper on a new two-and-a-half year deal.
