Christian absolves Rangers two

The duo were back at Murray Park on Friday after boss Walter Smith performed a surprise U-turn and told the pair they were back in his plans.[LNB]He had previously informed journalists that both players would not play for Rangers again following their antics while on international duty.[LNB]But Smith had a change of heart this week and both Ferguson and McGregor are available for selection again after serving two-week club bans.[LNB]"It's nice to have them back," said Dailly.[LNB]"They have served their punishment and that's it done."[LNB]However, Dailly admits the fallout surrounding the pair's behaviour while with Scotland led to a tough time for everyone at Rangers.[LNB]"I don't think it's been ideal," he said.[LNB]"As a club, we would have preferred that we'd had them all the time and hadn't ended up in the situation that we were in.[LNB]"But I think everyone pulled together well and we had three wins in a week from three tough games.[LNB]"It's been fine. The main thing is that we know we've got people who can come in and do a job.[LNB]"Now that they're back, the squad will be bolstered."[LNB]Smith has refused to divulge whether Ferguson or McGregor will be involved in Sunday's SPL game at Hibernian and Dailly claimed he was also in the dark.[LNB]He said: "It's up to the manager, he picks the team. We just train together, we are all team-mates and friends.[LNB]"We are the sort of team who thinks that whoever plays, we can still win the game."[LNB]A crippling injury list - combined with the absence of Ferguson and McGregor - means Dailly has been called upon in the last couple of games and has relished his involvement.[LNB]He said: "There have been times throughout the season when it's looked as though there will be a few injuries and suspensions and I've found myself sitting on the bench ready to go on at any time.[LNB]"I just keep myself ready to play and the manager knows that."[LNB]Rangers head into the weekend action trailing Celtic by a single point in the title race.[LNB]But Dailly insisted: "It's still within our hands. If we win all the games, we win the league.[LNB]"We know that but it's going to be difficult and there are definitely going to be a few twists and turns. We have to try to win all the games.[LNB]"All we are trying to do is look after ourselves and we have a tough game on Sunday.[LNB]"We will need to be bang-on to win that game but we are feeling quite good at the moment. We are confident."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
