USA World Cup star Maurice Edu has left behind the wonderful memories of South Africa to get back to club business with Rangers.[LNB] The midfielder played his part in getting his country to the second stages of this summer's tournament where they were eliminated by Ghana.[LNB]Edu only had three weeks off before he joined up with his Gers team mates in Sydney as they prepare for the start of the 2010/11 campaign and the former Toronto FC player is now focused on winning a record 54th Clydesdale Bank Premier League championship.[LNB]"It's great to be back with all the boys again," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"I had a few weeks off to relax after South Africa and took my mind off things but that's behind me now.[LNB]"It was great to have a bit of time away from football but I'm excited about being in Australia and with the team once more.[LNB]"It's important for me now to be back amongst everyone as we all need to be ready for the first game of the season against Kilmarnock.[LNB]"I found it a real privilege to be part of the World Cup and it has been fun talking to all of the guys about what it was like.[LNB]"Not many people get to experience it so it was an honour to be part of the tournament, especially as it was the first one in Africa.[LNB]"Now, though, I've got my business head back on again and we are all training hard ahead of our first competitive games."
