Boyd still unsure over future

Rangers striker Kris Boyd would like to prove his worth south of the border, but would also be happy to commit his long-term future to the Ibrox club.

The 26-year-old's current contract runs out in the summer and a number of English clubs are monitoring the situation, with Boyd having scored 126 goals in 184 appearances for the Gers to date.

He told the Daily Record: "It would be nice to play in the Premier League. I've confidence in my own ability and believe I'd score goals at the highest level.

"But at the moment, all I want is to do well for Rangers and help them win more trophies.

"Sitting here I genuinely don't know if I'll stay or go, but I'd be happy to sign on again here and if I'm still banging in goals for Rangers five or six years from now, I'll be very happy.

"At this moment in time the club is not stable and that is on my mind. This club needs stability, it needs to be sorted out."
