Rangers striker Kris Boyd has admitted that he would consider a return to the Scotland fold under George Burley's successor.
The 26-year-old has not featured for his country for more than a year, but is being talked up for a recall after continuing to find the net regularly for his club.
Boyd told the Gers' official club website: "There is no player bigger than his country. I just felt at the time that I wasn't playing, so it was better for me to come back and concentrate on club football.
"I have done that and I feel as though I am reaping the benefits of that. Whatever happens in the future will happen.
"I'm not ruling out coming back and I'm not ruling out staying in retirement either. The manager who comes in might no fancy me anyway. It's not in my mind right now."
