Boyd ready to return if Burley goes

07 April 2009 09:55
In October, Boyd controversially claimed he would never play for Scotland again while Burley remained in charge after being repeatedly overlooked by the former Hearts and Ipswich boss.[LNB]Boyd admits he may one day look back on that decision with regret, saying in the Scottish Sun: "Who knows, maybe in 20 years' time I will look back and say to myself: 'I wish I hadn't done that.'[LNB]"But at that time, the best thing for me was concentrating fully on playing for Rangers.[LNB]"I've never said I'll not play for Scotland again. Hopefully in the future I can be a better striker for Scotland if they need me.[LNB]"I said at the time I wanted to play for my country again at some stage in the future and that has not changed.[LNB]"But my focus is on Rangers and being part of a successful team. That's always been my priority."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
