Boyd bemoans three 'bad decisions'
The Ibrox club surrendered the advantage in their race with defending champions Celtic on Wednesday when they drew 1-1 at Hibernian.
But the biggest talking point of the night was an effort on goal from Nacho Novo which officials decided did not cross the line.
It was the third time this season Rangers have felt hard done by.
In August, DaMarcus Beasley was denied a winning goal at Aberdeen by an errant offside flag, while Boyd himself was controversially flagged offside in November when clean through in the goalless draw at Motherwell.
He told the Scottish Sun: "Some of these decisions you get, some you don't. But that's been three that have now gone against us this season.
"DaMarcus Beasley at Aberdeen, my goal at Motherwell and now Nacho against Hibs. It certainly hasn't helped us.
"Most teams who come to Ibrox say we get this decision or that decision. But that's now three we haven't got.
"When you see that happen, it puts that theory to bed."
Rangers made themselves favourites for the title by winning the final Old Firm derby of the season last Saturday.
But despite conceding top spot at the first available opportunity, Boyd insists Rangers did not "bottle" it at Easter
Road.
He said: "There is nothing wrong with our bottle - we know what we need to do. There is still plenty to play for.
"The Hibs game is out of our system and we know what is required on Saturday against Aberdeen."
Meanwhile, the player who cleared Novo's shot on Wednesday night - Ross Chisholm - insists it did not cross the line.
Some Hibs players have come out and said they felt the ball was in but midfielder Chisholm told the Daily Record: "I can't remember much about it and I've not seen it on TV since but, as far as I'm concerned, the ball was half in, half out."
