Bougherra admits future is unclear

Algeria defender Bougherra was recently quoted as saying he would see how the season at Ibrox but was keen for a return to the Premier League after the World Cup.[LNB]But the 27-year-old told his club's official website: "I have two years of my contract left at the end of the season.[LNB]"So it is not for me to say I'll leave in the summer as it's not me who makes that decision."[LNB]He added: "When I said I don't want to leave in January and that I wanted to stay for the whole season, that doesn't mean I want to go after that," he said.[LNB]"I will still have two years left then and I want to stay. If I am here for two years more then good, as I feel good here.[LNB]"I will go to the World Cup and we will see what happens after that. Maybe I will sign a new contract with Rangers - who knows?[LNB]"I'm playing in all the games and I've got to play in the Champions League. Everything is good for me to progress."[LNB][LNB]
