The Bluegenes have issued an excellent new CD. You can purchase the CD using the link on their site or you can download tunes from iTunes.     http://www.bluegenesmusic.co.uk/products.html   https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/im-born-true-blue-to-core/id705929379   You may recall Gordon from his involvement in “The Followers” who produced a vinyl single and a cassette back in the 80s which were officially issued by the club.   For this venture Gordon has teamed up with Robert who is a skilled lyracist and musician.   You might have noticed they have a wee stall on Copland Road beside where the Copland Diner used to be and you can purchase the CD there on match day.       Gordon and Robert a bit of background to each song.       Don My Colours    This is a song based on my family of lifelong Rangers supporters who are so proud of their Rangers background, proud to wear the colours their father wore, red, white and blue.  I am sure this mirrors tens of thousands of Rangers minded families throughout the world during the long and distinguished history of Glasgow Rangers, who must feel as proud as I do when they don the colours their fathers wore.   The Emblem    This song is about the players on the field giving their all for Glasgow Rangers whilst wearing their emblem (Rangers Crest) as we give them our support in song.  As we are passionate supporters, so the players should show their passion on the field, proud to be wearing the Rangers Crest.    Every Banner    This is based on our loyal massive traveling support passing through towns home and abroad, on their way to support Glasgow Rangers  To be there, seeing and hearing the support for our team on their travels is something never to be forgotten.   Hope you all enjoy them.   Gordon and Robert We’re Born True Blue to the Core
