Beasley completes Hannover move

Hannover have completed the signing of American winger DaMarcus Beasley following his exit from Rangers.[LNB] Beasley, who left Rangers at the end of last season, has signed a two-year contract with the Bundesliga club after an injury-plagued spell in Scotland.[LNB]Hannover sporting director Jorg Schmadtke said: "DaMarcus' signing adds a further option to our squad.[LNB]"That is necessary for a long Bundesliga season - one in which we have made a great start, but one that will still bring many twists and turns in the coming months."[LNB]Hannover coach Mirko Slomka was equally pleased to have snapped up the 28-year-old.[LNB]He said: "It is a positive sign for Hannover to be able to attract a further American national player.[LNB]"DaMarcus brings with him great international experience, and can help give us that extra push in the Bundesliga."[LNB]Beasley is excited at the prospect of linking up with international team-mate Steve Cherundolo at Hannover.[LNB]"I already know about Hannover because I played a friendly here two years ago," Beasley said.[LNB]"It will be great to play for the same domestic team as Steve. The Bundesliga will be a fantastic challenge for me."[LNB]
