Rangers' on-loan Arsenal defender Kyle Bartley insists he will not rush his comeback from injury but hopes to be back in action soon.[LNB] Bartley is recovering from a hernia operation and has not featured since being forced out of his second Gers debut against Inverness on August 13.[LNB]The centre-half also saw his first loan spell with the Scottish champions last season marred by injury when he suffered medial ligament damage and is keen on a cautious approach this time around.[LNB]Bartley said: "I'm not targeting any specific games and at the moment I am just taking things day by day.[LNB]"If I start looking too far ahead of myself I might get a bit carried away.[LNB]"Realistically, I've been out for quite a while now so it could be a few more weeks before I'm fully fit, but I'm getting closer."[LNB]Although reluctant to set any deadlines, Bartley could return for the glamour friendly against Liverpool at Ibrox on October 18.[LNB]He told www.rangers.co.uk: "I've been outside for the last week with the fitness coach and the physios so hopefully I'm not too far away now.[LNB]"With my knee injury then the hernia problem, the last six months have been really frustrating. It has been a tough time.[LNB]"But everyone here has been behind me and I've managed to get through it and hopefully I'll keep getting stronger now over the next few weeks."
