Alexander set for Rangers role
Neil Alexander will make his first appearance of the season for Rangers when they play host to Dunfermline in the Co-operative Insurance Cup.
The goalkeeper has been given the nod ahead of usual number one Allan McGregor, while Andy Webster returns to the side after recovering from a hamstring injury.
James Beattie is a slight concern with a hip problem, John Fleck remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury and Steven Whittaker is suspended for the visit of the Irn-Bru First Division side.
