Adam content with Ibrox stay
29 Dec 2008 - 07:55:33
Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam has pledged his future to the club after being linked with a move to England in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old had been out of the first-team picture at Ibrox in the last month, before being recalled for the Old Firm clash on Boxing Day.
However Adam is more than happy to remain with the Gers, saying: "I'm happy at this club and I still have three-and-a-half years left on my contract.
"I'm happy being at Rangers and being a Rangers player. Unless someone else thinks otherwise, then I'm happy to be at this fantastic club.
"When I'm not playing with the first team, I'm playing in bounce games or with the reserve team.
"It's not as though I've not played at all for the last three or four weeks, I've played games during the week to keep the match sharpness.
"To come back into a game like this is fantastic and it shows the manager still has faith in me."
