Raith look for home comforts

Raith are at full strength as they look to secure their first home Championship win of the season by defeating Alloa.

Manager Grant Murray believes his third-placed side will need to see off a team who are the image of their manager to pick up all three points.

"I played alongside Paul Hartley at St Johnstone and he was an extremely hard-working professional with really high standards. His Alloa team are just like him," Murray said.

"We have had a good start to the season but not won at home in the league yet. It would be nice to put that right."

Alloa full-back James Creaney is out of his side's trip to Kirkcaldy after injuring his ankle in last Saturday's 2-1 defeat from Dumbarton.

Summer signing Iain Flannigan has started training following a knee problem, however he remains sidelined along with Eddie Ferns (broken jaw).

Alloa manager Hartley said: "It was disappointing to lose to Dumbarton but we showed in our second half performance how good we can be.

"It will be tough to get something at Raith but I know the players will give everything in their pursuit as their effort and attitude in training has been outstanding."
