Striker Harry Panayiotou set for Raith debut against Rangers

Raith Rovers entertain Ladbrokes Championship leaders Rangers and manager Ray McKinnon includes his new loan signing Harry Panayiotou in his squad.

Panayiotou has arrived from Leicester and goes straight into the party to face the Ibrox outfit.

Lewis Toshney, Iain Davidson and Mark Stewart are involved after shaking off knocks but the injured Craig Barr (groin) and Lewis Vaughan (knee) continue to miss out.

McKinnon said: "Rangers are in terrific form and no-one will expect us to do anything in this game so it is a bit of a pressure free game. I will send the players out to be positive and show what they can do."

"Hopefully we can continue creating chances as we have been but show a more ruthless edge."

Michael O'Halloran will go straight into the Rangers squad after completing his B#500,000 switch from St Johnstone.

Holding midfielder Andy Halliday will also return after serving a one-match ban for his red card at Morton, but Jason Holt's involvement remains uncertain as he struggles to shake off a knee injury.

Fraser Aird has moved to Vancouver Whitecaps on loan, meaning the only other absentee is winger David Templeton, who is still a few weeks away after knee surgery.
