Elliot out for Raith

Raith will be missing striker Calum Elliot due to a knee injury as they look for their first league points from Rangers 12 days after knocking the Ibrox side out of the William Hill Scottish cup.

Midfielder Kevin Moon is expected to shake off a knock to feature as the Stark's Park men look to stretch their unbeaten run to seven games.

Manager Grant Murray said: "This is a massive game for us as we want to keep ourselves in the play-off hunt. We go into it with the boost of having scored an injury-time equaliser against Falkirk last weekend and hopefully we can build on that."

Rangers welcome back Steve Simonsen and Lee McCulloch from suspension for the clash after the pair missed last week's defeat to Hibs.

But four of the five players recently signed from Newcastle on loan - Gael Bigirimana, Remie Streete, Shane Ferguson and Kevin Mbabu - remain unavailable through injury.

Goalkeeper Cammy Bell (shoulder), defenders Bilel Mohsni (knee) and Richard Foster (hernia), winger David Templeton (thigh) and striker Kenny Miller (groin ) are also sidelined.
