Raith welcome back duo but Aaron Muirhead missing for Falkirk

Raith have Iain Davidson and David Bates available again for the visit of Falkirk.

Davidson is back from suspension and Bates is ready after two months out with a calf injury.

But an ankle injury keeps Mark Stewart sidelined and Lewis Vaughan is not yet ready following knee surgery.

Manager Ray McKinnon said: "This will be a really competitive game and it is just what we need ahead of the play-offs. Falkirk are slugging it out with Hibs in a race for a second place and they will come here looking for the win that helps their cause. We kept our momentum going with a win at Dumbarton last weekend and do not want it to slow down."

Falkirk will be without suspended defender Aaron Muirhead, who was sent off for two bookings against Hibernian last weekend.

Peter Grant (knee) and Connor McGrandles (broken leg) continue to be absent.

Manager Peter Houston said: "This game will have a bit of a cup-tie feel to it as we want second place and Raith showed last weekend against Dumbarton that they are not slowing down just because they are in the play-offs.

"They are a hard-working and well organised side so we will need to be at our best to win. It has been frustrating waiting to get playing again after scoring the two late goals to draw at Hibs so kick-off cannot come quickly enough."
