Cuthbert absent for Rovers

Raith will have on-loan Aberdeen goalkeeper Aaron Lennox between the posts in the Fife derby against Dunfermline as Kevin Cuthbert is suffering from a dead leg.

Craig Barr remains out a groin problem and Rovers manager Gary Locke has Iain Davidson and Scott Robertson rated as very doubtful as he looks for his men to put on a 90-minute performance.

Locke said: "We were terrific last Saturday against St Mirren for 65 minutes and went three goals up. St Mirren got on top after that but we managed to get the win but in a game as important as this we cannot afford to be second best at any stage."

Dunfermline have Lee Ashcroft available after a ban but goalkeeper Sean Murdoch (wrist) and Nat Wedderburn (ankle) are not ready to return yet.

"Raith did very well last season and have started this campaign well also. We played well at Hibs last weekend but mistakes saw us give goals easily and lose 2-1," said Pars boss Allan Johnston.

"It will be tough at Stark's Park as their manager Gary Locke recruited well over the summer and Declan McManus is a very good striker but if we can cut the mistakes out of our game then we can do well."
