Elliot set for Rovers return

Raith Rovers striker Calum Elliot (hamstring) should return when the Kirkcaldy side entertain Alloa.

Reece Donaldson is doubtful after being injured in the 3-3 draw with Dumbarton at the weekend, while goalkeeper David McGurn (Achilles) and Peter Watson (foot) remain out.

Manager Grant Murray said: "We have slipped back a bit in the league but a win over Alloa would get us moving positively again. We are showing plenty of commitment however we are lacking a bit of belief about winning games at the moment."

"A win over Alloa would get that belief back and move us up a couple of places in the table."

Alloa could be missing their recent signing, former Hibs, Celtic and Scotland striker Derek Riordan, who suffered an ankle injury in the challenge that saw Morton player Dougie Imrie dismissed at the weekend.

The Wasps will be without Jason Marr (thigh) and Willie Robertson (toe) as they look to build on Saturday's 1-0 success.

Manager Barry Smith said: "I am delighted that the hard work that the players have been putting in for me was rewarded with a win at the weekend.

"I will not be asking them to do anything different in this game and hopefully we will get the same result."
