Callachan salvages draw for Rovers

Ross Callachan rescued a point for Raith with an injury-time equaliser as they drew 2-2 at home to Falkirk to extend their unbeaten run to six games.

In a first half dominated by the visitors, David McCracken headed wide before Raith's Mark Stewart forced Jamie MacDonald into a save.

Falkirk were awarded a penalty in the 23rd minute when Rory Loy was brought down and John Baird made no mistake, powering the penalty into the bottom corner against his former club.

Raith equalised on the hour through Will Vaulks' own goal as he tried to clear Grant Anderson's shot but inadvertently diverted it into his own net.

Captain McCracken thought he had won if for the visitors when he headed Tom Taiwo's corner into the roof of the net in the 68th minute.

But there was late drama when Callachan met Christian Nade's pass to fire home the equaliser.
