Dunfermline record home win

Dunfermline secured their first league home win of the season with a comfortable 3-1 defeat of Raith at East End Park.

Ryan Wallace, Andrew Barrowman and Josh Falkingham were all on the score sheet for The Pars while Grant Murray's side squandered a first-half penalty.

That penalty miss came on 15 minutes after Andy Dowie brought down Grant Anderson, with Brian Graham's placed spot-kick comfortably saved by Paul Gallacher.

Raith were made to rue that miss as Wallace went up the other end and fired Dunfermline ahead, while just five minutes later the deficit was two when Falkingham headed in from Joe Cardle's cross.

Graham pulled a goal back for Raith after the restart to make up for his earlier miss but again Dunfermline hit straight back, Barrowman finding the bottom corner of the net to restore his side's two-goal advantage.
