Dundee 2-1 Raith: Report

12 February 2011 18:39
Dundee dent Raith dreams Veteran Neil McCann scored five minutes into injury time to help Dundee come from a goal down to beat Scottish Division One leaders Raith 2-1 at Dens Park. Substitute McCann, who came out of retirement to join Dee earlier in the week, met Craig Forsyth's corner from 12 yards to head home a fairy tale winner. Raith had took the lead six minutes after half-time, Grant Murray heading in from Allan Walker's corner. Rovers looked comfortable and Murray should have had a second after 69 minutes but he mishit the ball and fired over. Dundee got their equaliser six minutes from time when Gary Harkins' 25-yarder found the top corner before McCann's winner eased Dee's relegation worries and dented Raith's promotion hopes.
