Watson wants run to continue

QPR midfielder Ben Watson is striving for his team-mates to maintain their form and push further up the Championship table. The tigerish central midfielder, who is on loan from Wigan Athletic, thinks they have enough quality after scoring in his side's creditable 1-1 draw against league leaders Newcastle United on Wednesday night. Speaking in the aftermath of the St James' Park draw to BBC London 94.9, he said: "They're top and there for a reason. We matched them all over the pitch. "We've got to do that week-in week-out, which we've done for the last couple of weeks - we've played really well. "We came out of the blocks quick, started well, got the goal and the lads are disappointed with a point."
