Warnock hails `gem' Hill

QPR manager Neil Warnock praised the performance of left-back Clint Hill following his side's 2-0 win over stubborn Ipswich at Loftus Road, a result that maintains their five point lead at the top of the Championship.Hill headed the first from Adel Taarabt's corner with 13 minutes to go for only his second Rangers goal, before his run and cross provided Heidar Helguson with the clincher.Warnock said: "My wife wants my son William to grow up like Clint Hill, that's the biggest compliment I can pay him. He's a gem of a person. Every club should want someone like him around."And what about his dribble for the second goal? Turning the full-back? He hasn't done that since he was at school."On his team's overall display, he added: "We were a lot better in the second half. Ipswich haven't really got anything to play for and nothing to lose, they have had some great results and looked confident."But we sorted it out at half-time, largely dominated the second half and got the goals."
