Warnock backs Hornets to survive
Watford manager Malky Mackay has been backed to keep his side up by QPR counterpart Neil Warnock. The Hornets face Reading on Saturday still needing a win from their final two games to guarantee their safety after going down 1-0 at Loftus Road on Tuesday night.Yet the battle to avoid the last relegation spot could yet be decided by a final-day meeting between the two sides directly below them - Crystal Palace and Sheffield Wednesday."I've been there the last few weeks and it's horrible for Malky," said Warnock, whose side's survival was only secured last week."They've got a better chance - you wouldn't swap Wednesday or Palace's position with theirs. They've got two games left, one at home. Palace's are difficult, West Brom at home and Sheffield are at Cardiff so it could go down to that last game."But I've got a lot of time for Malky. It's been difficult circumstances and resources are vital at this level."
