Warnock: We'll do it for Mackie

QPR manager Neil Warnock has vowed to win promotion this season for stricken striker Jamie Mackie.

The Championship leaders will be without their Scotland international for the run-in after he suffered a double leg-break in the FA Cup defeat against Blackburn on Saturday.

Warnock branded Rovers winger El-Hadji Diouf "a sewer rat" for his behaviour as Mackie was lying on the ground injured.

And he added: "We've got to try to win promotion for Jamie now.

"He deserves to play in the Premier League and we'll do all we can to make it happen."
