QPR striker Rowan Vine has suffered a setback in his recovery from a broken leg after undergoing further surgery.
Vine, 26, has been out of action since suffering the injury in a training session back in March.
He is now likely to be sidelined for the majority of the rest of the current campaign.
"Part of the fracture in his tibia hasn't responded as quickly as we would have liked and as a result Rowan has undergone further surgery," physio Paul Hunter told the club's official website.
"It's impossible to predict how long he well be sidelined for.
"Rowan is hugely annoyed, but he's been first-class throughout the whole rehabilitation process and he needs to maintain that attitude now."
