Queens Park Rangers have released five soon-to-be out-of-contract players as manager Luigi De Canio prepares for his first close season at the helm.
The Italian coach has cut loose Sean Thomas, Aaron Goode, Andrew Howell, Stefan Bailey and Matt Pickens.
Of the quintet, only Howell and Bailey have made any first-team appearances for the Championship club.
Meanwhile, De Canio could be in hot water with the Football Association after slamming the performance of referee Paul Taylor during Sunday's 2-0 defeat by West Brom.
"We prepared all week for this match and his decision completely changed the game," he told the club's official website.
"He wasn't up to refereeing the game today and that's just not good enough.
"Personally I feel very offended by the way he conducted himself. His performance was very poor. He was offensive to us, West Brom and the Championship.
"His mediocrity was thoroughly convincing today."
