R's lodge Stewart appeal

QPR have decided to appeal to the Football Association after Damion Stewart was controversially sent off against Norwich City on Saturday.

The Jamaica international was dismissed in the opening five minutes of the Carrow Road clash and the R's eventually slumped to a 3-0 defeat.

First-team coach Luigi De Canio said after the loss: "I didn't think Damion deserved to go.

"Referees have to make split-second decisions, and it can be difficult for them, but I feel we were unlucky."
