Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Simon Royce has extended his loan stay at QPR for another month.

The 33-year-old has already spent the last two months at Loftus Road and played eight games for Ian Holloway's mid-table side.

Royce has played second fiddle to first-choice Addicks shot-stopper Dean Kiely during his time at The Valley.

After making more than 150 appearances for Southend United, Royce went on to spend three years at Leicester City and enjoyed loan spells with Brighton, Manchester City, QPR and Luton Town.
