Ricketts makes R's switch

Queens Park Rangers have snapped up out-of-favour Wolves midfielder Rohan Ricketts on loan until the end of the season.

Ricketts has been out in the cold at Molineux since January and has been loaned out by Wolves boss Mick McCarthy in a bid to play some first-team football.

"He's a decent footballer with a good pair of legs and he'll be a useful addition to the squad between now and the end of the season," R's boss John Gregory told the club's official website.

"He's out of favour at the moment at Wolves, but I've always liked the look of him as a footballer and it's a great opportunity for him.

"I've not guaranteed him anything, but he's here for six weeks with the opportunity to help us out at any given stage should we lose one or two due to injury."
