Rangers move for Jarrett

QPR caretaker manager Mick Harford has made an immediate move into the transfer market after snapping up Preston midfielder Jason Jarrett on loan. Harford replaced former boss John Gregory in the Loftus Road hot-seat on Monday and has landed Jarrett on loan until January 1. The 28-year-old midfielder had been placed on the transfer list at Deepdale in the summer. "Jason is an experienced midfielder who has played at the highest level in this country," Harford told the club's official website "He's box to box, keeps it simple, and he'll complement the other players we have in that department too. "He's the type of player a lot of managers keep tabs on and I'm sure he'll be a good addition to the squad."
