    R's reject Cook approach

    12 Jul 2007 - 11:09:37

Queens Park Rangers have turned down an approach from Fulham for winger Lee Cook.

The Premier League club tabled a bid believed to be in the region of £1.5million for the 24-year-old wideman, but R's chairman Gianni Paladini claims Cook will not be leaving Loftus Road unless Fulham dramatically increase their offer.

"He's got a two-year contract and he's a QPR player - end of story," he said.

"I think he would be a bit offended if someone valued him at £1.5million.

"He's a QPR player and unless we get a decent deal he's going nowhere and he knows that."

Meanwhile, QPR have agreed a deal to sign Derby County goalkeeper Lee Camp.
