QPR have revealed that broken leg victim Rowan Vine has undergone a successful operation and will spend the next 48 hours in hospital.
The 25-year-old striker fractured his left leg during training on Thursday and faces a long road back to full fitness.
"Rowan had surgery last night and the surgeon who carried out the operation was very pleased with it," head physio Paul Hunter told the club's official website.
"He had a nail inserted down his tibia which gives the fracture support. This gives the fracture the best possible chance of healing.
"While Rowan is obviously still slightly shaken by the events of the last 24 hours, he is coming to terms with the injury now and is already looking ahead to his rehabilitation."
