Parker keen for more loans
QPR boss Neil Warnock is determined to send young midfielder Josh Parker out on loan again in order for him to gain first-team experience. The 19-year-old, who has made six appearances for the Rs including featuring twice earlier this season, spent time on-loan at Northampton last month before he was recalled to Loftus Road whilst he also had an unsuccessful spell at AFC Wimbledon in the second half of last season.Warnock said that in the past he has tended to go with the player's wishes of going on-loan to a club nearby but will now insist that he goes wherever there is opportunity for him to get valuable game time.He told the Ealing Gazette: "I could have got Josh fixed with a club a bit further away from home before, but he didn't really fancy that, so he went to Northampton. But I might insist next time because I need him to play games. He can't just pick where he wants to go now. He's got to go where I know they will play him."On why Parker's loan spell at the Cobblers was ended early, he added: "I think it was a mutual thing at Northampton. They had one or two coming back from injury and didn't require him. He wasn't going to get a game, so he might as well come back and train with us."I'm not disappointed it was cut short, it was an experience for him and I think young players need more of that."
