Magilton enjoys Faurlin debut

Queens Park Rangers boss Jim Magilton was delighted with Alejandro Faurlin's debut for the club in a pre-season friendly against Slovenian side NK Celje.

The 22-year-old Argentinian has moved to Loftus Road for £3.5million from Instituto and lasted an hour on his first outing for the Hoops.

Magilton told the club's official website: "He hasn't played for a while, so I was delighted with his display.

"Of course he was always likely to tire towards the end of the game, because he hasn't played for a while, but overall I was really impressed.

"He passed the ball really well and kept possession in key areas, so I'm delighted."
