Leg break sidelines Vine

QPR striker Rowan Vine faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after fracturing his left leg during a training session. The 25-year-old forward, who only joined the R's on a permanent £1million basis from Birmingham City in January, will undergo an operation on Thursday evening and faces a summer of rehabilitation. "Rowan is understandably upset right now, but he is already thinking about getting himself fit as soon as possible," head physiotherapist Paul Hunter told the club's official website. Vine initially joined the Championship club on loan in October and has netted seven goals in 35 appearances for Luigi De Canio's side.
