QPR manager John Gregory admits he would love to keep loan midfielder Jimmy Smith at the club in the long term.
The 19-year-old Chelsea reserve has netted four goals in seven appearances for the Hoops, with Gregory more than impressed by the youngster's displays.
He told the club's official website: "Jimmy is something else. He's earned the respect of his fellow team-mates and the fans and at his tender age, that is some achievement.
"We've managed to get him for a further two months, but I wish it was two years."
Meanwhile, chairman Gianni Paladini has warned any interested clubs that they will have to pay through the nose for in-form winger Lee Cook.
He told the Kilburn Times: "The asking price is £10million if anyone wants Lee Cook.
"There are several clubs after him and we know that people have been scouting him because he's playing so well this season."
