Faurlin extends Loftus Road stay

Queens Park Rangers star Alejandro Faurlin is delighted to have penned a new two-year contract with the high-flying Championship outfit.

The Argentinan joined the Loftus Road team from Instituto de Cordoba last July and he has proved to be a revelation in the capital.

"I am delighted to have signed a new deal," he said. "I have really enjoyed my time here and I wanted to ensure my long term future is with QPR.

"We have made a fantastic start to the season and we have a great desire and ambition to achieve things over the next few years.

"The fans have been great since I arrived here. The English supporters - and the QPR fans in particular - are among the best in the world and I hope I can repay their support by continuing to improve over the course of the next few seasons."
