De Canio opts to keep Vine

QPR have extended Rowan Vine's loan spell at Loftus Road until the beginning of January.

The 25-year-old Birmingham City striker initially moved to the R's at the beginning of October and has scored once in seven appearances for the Championship side.

First-team coach Luigi De Canio told the club's official website "I'm very happy that we've managed to extend Rowan's loan deal.

"I've been very impressed with his contribution so far and he's a great asset for us.

"His enthusiasm and professionalism is very good and I'm looking forward to working with him in the months ahead."
