Queens Park Rangers have been boosted by the return to training of Hungarian midfield playmaker Akos Buzsaky.
The 26-year-old has yet to feature this season, having undergone surgery on his left ankle during the summer.
However, head physio Paul Hunter told the club's official website: "Akos is back training and that's a massive boost for everyone.
"We're mindful that he's not had a full pre-season and as a result he's doing some extra fitness sessions with (performance manager) John Harbin.
"All things being equal though, he should be in contention to make the squad for our home fixture against Southampton in mid-September."
However, defender Fitz Hall faces a spell out of action after suffering a groin injury during the 2-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers last weekend.
