Boss reveals clamour for German

QPR boss Neil Warnock has revealed that teams from the Championship were keen to take striker Antonio German on loan.The 18-year-old has joined League Two outfit Southend in a bid to get regular first-team football, but Warnock admits the teenager is hot property.He said: "There were a number of clubs interested in Antonio."A couple from the Championship and one or two from League One too."But I want him to get some serious game-time under his belt and he'll get that at Southend."He will play five or six games for them and that will stand him in really good stead."
