Borrowdale to stay with R's

QPR will be hanging on to left-back Gary Borrowdale after Coventry City allowed him to move to Loftus Road for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old former Crystal Palace defender had been on loan at Loftus Road since November, playing consistently for the QPR reserve side without breaking into the first team.
Borrowdale has seen some competitive action this season, playing five times for Colchester during a short loan spell.
He is likely to provide back-up for the QPR defence this season although, with a three-and-a-half year contract in his pocket, the London club clearly see him as a good prospect for the future.
